Preaching the Good News to Frimley Green & Mytchett
We believe the Bible calls us to get to know Jesus' love, grow in it and show others to do the same. We want this for the young people in our church family. Proverbs 22:6 says, Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life. (GNT)
So, bring your kids to worship with us during our Sunday morning family services when we have a short, engaging Bible-centred talk and youth-led song that's inclusive of young, middle and old. Then our 0-15 year-olds head out to continue learning from the Bible in Sunday School. Fun is guaranteed!
Why not send your kids along to learn to play an instrument or sing in our Youth Worship Band? Email Rohan if interested.
Young people over 12 years are invited to serve as helpers in Sunday School and continue their learning from the Bible after worship service. Our Youth Bible Study meets in different homes during term time to enjoy lunch together and then study God's Word. We emphasise on application in our lives.
We also have groups that meet during the week. If you have toddlers and pre-schoolers then come along to Tiny Tots on Mondays during term-time 10-11:30am. We do our best to love you and your little ones like Jesus does!
We also run Youth Basketball for over 14 year-olds on Wednesdays from 3:30-5pm during term time in our flood-lit car park behind the church building. Novice or experienced, all are welcome to shoot some hoops with us. We have experienced coaches to help you sharpen your game.
If you're between 8-15 years-old then you could join Youth Group (see dates below). We meet once a month and have a lot of fun. We end our time together sharing some food and talking about different aspects of life as a young person and what the Bible says about them. Email Rohan if interested.
The Bible teaches that church is a family and thriving families spend time together. On the first Sunday of the month during term time, we invite church family to drop-in between 4-6pm at one of the local playgrounds (email Rohan for details) during fair weather or in our Hall if not. The kids play and grown-ups mingle. It's a great opportunity to invite friends and family along to meet church family in an informal setting.
Throughout the year, we also run several events throughout the year that aim to welcome new families to Jesus. Please visit our Children & Youth Events page for further details.
